Le President in Paris!

I was very lucky to be invited to join a group of students, staff and members from the Chamber de Metiers to travel to Paris on Thursday to deliver the Galette de Roix and Gateau de Roix to the French President, Francois Hollande! (See my previous blog entry 'A lovely French tradition (involving food of course)' for more information about these cakes). We had a very long day (up at 3:20am and back at 11:15pm) which will translate into a very long blog!!

I set my alarm for 3:20am, got up and dressed, and headed to the cafeteria, which was the 3:45am meeting place for the Centre students and staff.
